A professional, hardworking musician and recording engineer, specialising primarily in rock and metal genres but catering to all.

Based at Univibe Audio – a well established and respected studio in Birmingham’s City centre, Dan offers high quality recordings fuelled by a passion for creativity, and a dedication to further honing his craft. Since starting at the studio in 2008 he has worked with hundreds of clients, many of whom have gone on to achieve great success with their music, including record deals, sync deals for television and film soundtracks, national radio airplay, high profile support slots, festival appearances and more.

Dan is also available as a session bassist for hire, and has turned his hand to many different genres and settings. As well as playing in 60’s RnB/soul band The 3 Sixties, he has been a stand-in bassist for grunge band The Arkhamists, and has performed alongside indie pop duo Demons of Ruby Mae for their debut album and ‘Beneath the Surface’ single release shows. He has contributed his playing, engineering and composition skills as part of the BGM team for the cinematic film ‘Mahi NRI’, and likewise for many other happy clients over the years. Dan has featured regularly on a number of projects including grunge/punk trio SLUMBERDOG, progressive metal band Collision Process, international recording project Failure of Milk, and has also performed as an accompanying musician in musical theatre.
